Jiss Mathew is the Co-Founder and Director of Global Logistics Solutions India Pvt. Ltd., one of India's most prominent neutral LCL consolidators. He is also the host of the Logistically Speaking podcast and a travel writer who publishes long-form essays and photography on this site.
He co-founded Global Logistics Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. in 2006. It is a neutral LCL consolidator and freight forwarding company headquartered in Mumbai, India, with over 350 people across 19 locations serving more than 11,000 customers in LCL consolidation, air freight, FCL forwarding, express cargo, warehousing, NVOCC, project cargo, and transportation.
Logistically Speaking is Jiss Mathew's podcast, launched in 2024, exploring the human and economic stories behind global trade — ports, policy, supply chains, and the people who move cargo. Episodes are published on his YouTube channel, @jissmathew100.
He began his logistics career in 1996 with the world's largest multinational LCL consolidator, spending a decade in operations, sales, and commercial roles before co-founding Global Logistics Solutions India in 2006. He holds a Master's in Management from SIBER School of Management and an Executive Programme in Management (EPM) from IIT Bombay's Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management.
He serves as State Committee Chairman for Transport and Logistics at the Maharashtra Economic Development Council (MEDC).
Documented destinations on this site include Buenos Aires in Argentina, Iguazu Falls on the Argentina–Brazil border, and Melaka in Malaysia. He has also travelled through Fiji, Malawi, Tanzania, and the Amazon rainforest, and trekked extensively in the Sahyadris and eastern India.
